WE ARE NOT AN OPEN INTAKE SHELTER. WE DO NOT ACCEPT OWNER SURRENDERS OR STRAYS AT THIS TIME. WE ONLY TAKE IN DOGS FROM MCACC!

 

For emergency or injured stray situations:

Contact AZ Humane Society: 

To request an ambulance for a sick or injured stray animal or an animal in distress, call 602.997.7585 ext. 2073.

Services are free and available daily from 8am to 7pm. 

 

If you have found a stray:

Visit our Resources page for more information. If you have found a stray dog please begin by posting flyers in the area.  Post on Petfinder, Craigslist lost and found pages, and Lost Dogs of Arizona (please give a basic description of the animal, making sure the owner accurately provides a description of their pet).  Take the dog to a local vet to be scanned for a microchip.

Standing Proud Pit Bull Rescue Center is currently working out of a small network of foster homes. We are not accepting any owner surrenders or strays right now! If you need information on how to re-home your dog please visit the resources tab on this website!

 

Standing Proud is only taking in dogs local in AZ due to the overpopulation we are facing, and does not rescue from out of state at this time.

 

If you are looking to send a donated item please send us a message and we will supply you with a mailing address.
